Meet The Team
Stephen Willis
Stephen Willis is a lead pastor in Lynchburg, Virginia. He is passionate about Christian leadership and preaching the Word of God. Stephen holds a BS in Social Science-History from Campbell University and an MA in Spiritual Formation from Northwest Nazarene University. He is married to Lisa, a middle school English teacher in Forest, VA, and they have three boys, Nick, Camden, and Micah. Before entering full-time ministry Stephen spent three years teaching history and coaching basketball and tennis in Burlington, NC.
Mike Lyle
Mike Lyle is a pastor in Lynchburg, Virginia. He has been in pastoral ministry since 2002 and is passionate about worship and spiritual formation. He holds a BS in Mathematics from Eastern Nazarene College and an MA and an MDiv in Spiritual Formation from Northwest Nazarene University. Mike is married to Bethany, a school counselor in Bedford, VA, and they have four children, Gracyn, Gavin, Gabriel, and Gia.
Caleb Atkins
Caleb Atkins is a worship arts pastor in Lynchburg, Virginia. He is passionate about providing a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere in which transformation can take place. Caleb holds a BS in Communications from Liberty University. He is married to Stephanie and they have one child, Rielly. Before entering full time ministry, Caleb was the director of video production at Liberty University.
Dr. Emily Heady
Emily Walker Heady is Assistant Vice President of Student Success and Retention in Farmville, VA. A native Ohioan, she holds a BA in Spanish and English from The Ohio State University and an MA and PhD in Victorian literature from Indiana University. Emily is married to Chene, a professor at Longwood, and they have two children, Beatrice and Avery. She is heavily involved in her local church, Lynchburg First Church of the Nazarene.
Rick Huff
Rick Huff is a former shareholder and tax and estate specialists with HSC Wealth Advisors. He is licensed as a CPA and PFS with the American Institute of CPAs. Rick holds a bachelors degree in Accounting and an MBA from Xavier University. He also holds an M.S. in Taxation from Golden Gate University. Rick is married to Debbie and they have two girls (Kathryn Barber and Kelsey Moreman) and four grandchildren.
